WHO WE ARE...

OUR INTRODUCTION

Prakhar Praghya Universal Trust (PPUT) started its journey in 2000 in an attempt to make quality education a reality for all children. Based in Jaipur (Rajasthan, India) PPUT reaches out to underprivileged and under-resourced sections of society to make education meaningful and relevant to their lives. Over the last fifteen years, PPUT has undertaken various initiatives in action research and teacher-development programmes all over India, reaching out to more than 200 grassroots level organisations 25,000 teachers and 14, 00,000 children.

WHAT WE DO...

OUR MISSION

Prakhar Praghya Universal Trust works with children, teachers and government systems through teacher development programmes and children's learning support programmes. The organisation through its various action research initiatives is attempting citizenship education in its centres, quality improvement in madrasas as well as linking education to employability within the formal school system. PPUT, which has championed the cause of free and compulsory quality education for all children, aligns its programmes and activities to support the state in the light of the Right to Education Act.
